In Support of Education, Armenian Culture & History

Founded in 1994, the Friends of Holy Martyrs Armenian Day School (HMADS) in Bayside, Queens, has been a financial pillar, seeing the school through its difficulties with perseverance and dedication to ensure HMADS is relieved of financial concerns, so that concentrated focus can be placed on the educational, cultural, and emotional enrichment of young generations of Armenians. From the Annual Gala Dinner Dance to the Telethon, Friends has helped fill the school’s history pages with beautiful memories of unity, support, culture, entertainment, community outreach, and overall success. The very existence of the school depends on the fundraising efforts of this dedicated group of individuals composed of school board members, alumni, current and former parents, as well as members of the Armenian community who share the School’s vision of providing the best possible American education while teaching the Armenian language, culture and heritage.
